![]() ![]() This new DLC adds two new biomes, Fractured Shrines and Undying Shores, several new weapons including a sentient sword that may or may not get on your nerves (spoiler: super irritating), a variety of new enemies, and a boss who will try very hard to stop your progression. Similar to Bad Seed, Fatal Falls will cost you only $4.99, and it is well worth that price. Shortly after announcing that Dead Cells sold over 3.5 million copies to-date, the second paid DLC, Fatal Falls, was announced (an animated trailer has been released for each content update and they get better and better – check it out). Explore floating shrines, infiltrate the lair of an outlawed. Can this latest and final piece of content add to this phenomenal game or is this just unnecessary extras? Try not to fall as you wind your way along the sheer cliffs of the islands coast. I last reviewed a Dead Cells DLC almost a year ago to-date and had extremely high praise. Sure, there is a story but you really play for everything between the time you fall from the pipe right up to crawling back into the pipe. Luckily, Dead Cells does not have to worry about any of that. Granted, it is not always easy adding content, especially to games that have a clear cut beginning and end. “What’s being added?”, “Does it feel slapped on?”, and “Do I want to go back to the game?” are just some of the questions that come from the fanbase. It offered me about ten hours of fun and helped me get plugged back into a fun game.DLC can be a mixed bag for many games. Deep in the Undying Shores, there is a set of three. It is only $4.99 for two large, fun exploration stages and tons of new ways to play the game. To unlock the Cocoon Power Skill, you need to enter a special door located in the Undying Shores, the second area of the Fatal Falls DLC. Overall, should you buy this DLC? Absolutely! Sickles are not some speed melee weapon, but instead some rotating skill that does damage around the player. The weapons from this DLC are also a little underwhelming. The Scarecrow will bounce around their tiny arena and try and hit the player, however, for the most part, they are never aiming directly at the player, unlike most of the bosses in the game, making their attack quite easy to dodge. The two new exploration stages are so great, reigniting my enjoyment for the game, and then the boss section drags my hype back down to Earth. Dead Cells as a whole struggles with boss fights, which is unfortunate because the exploration sections of the game are so great, and the DLC is no exception. CONVERGENCE: A League of Legends Story review: The perfected 2D side-scrollerĪlthough, not everything is perfect in this DLC, and sadly that conversation starts around the new boss: The Scarecrow. If you like the game then buy both as both are supplementary content even to 0bc players. Fatal falls adds two post first boss biomes and a new second boss. Bad seed adds a new first boss and two new pre first boss biomes. It had already been known for a while about its existence. 9 comments Best Add a Comment NomadicSpark 2 yr. ![]()
